I was recently asked to make a logo for a friend. His screen name is RL_Oreo – he’s an avid and high ranked Rocket League player who helps with coaching lower ranks in my community. He’s a great person, amazing friend, and fan of Dragonball Z.
He sent me a screen shot of his favorite car in Rocket League, the Skyline, and I used it to make a simple vector outline for the logo. I also made a chalice that looks like it’s filled with milk, which a large Oreo cookie is dunking into. On top of the chalice is a name plate with his name, and a rank insignia for his current rank tier. Along the outside I added “aura” flames to echo the power-up animation in Dragonball Z.
While I first started out with purples and blues for the logo, I changed to the green scheme that it is now because that is the color profile of the car he uses in game.
